Wrangler is a story that only America, the land of the free, can tell us. A story of talent, ambition and dreams. It all began in 1897 when Hudson CC, barely 20 years old, left the family farm in Tennessee to join the emerging textile industry in North Carolina. He was employed in a factory, working for 25 cents a day. But he believed in himself and was content with little, for the time being. When the factory closed, he united with other former workers to buy some machinery: The Hudson Overall Company was launched. As the company developed it became the Blue Bell Company, and finally Wrangler in 1947. By this time, the success had was already ringing at the gates of the Company: the line launched in 1946 for cowboys and other followers of the rodeo style and was a huge success. Many improvements were made in the cut and finish to create the ultimate in comfort, even in extreme conditions and since then, the success has never wavered in America, as in the rest of the world.
