The Myma shoe company was founded in 1953 with its first collection of children's footwear, but it wasn't until the 1970s that the company launched its women's range. The brand was based in Toulouse up until 2001 when production was moved to high-end facilities in Portugal. Myma has rapidly become a benchmark brand, specialising in fashionable shoes for women. The brand has been courted in the press for a number of years with articles in top-rated magazines such as Elle, Cosmopolitan, Gala and Marie Claire, and currently has over 400 retail stores in France.
