Loake is one of those venerable British brands whose creations you can wear in the knowledge that several generations have already put them to the test. Loake shoes have been made in the same factory since 1894 in Kettering, in Northamptonshire, in the heart of the British shoemaking industry. Since the establishment of the Loake brand, more than 50 million pairs of shoes have been made. The fifth generation of the Loake family is presently at the head of this business that’s still burgeoning thanks to its immense reputation and its unalterable excellence in production. The Goodyear stitching used in the making of Loake shoes has its origins in a distance past: it’s been over three centuries that it’s been perfected by British craftsmen. The creation of a pair of Loake shoes demands on average 8 weeks and the cooperation of around a hundred experts to assemble 75 pieces with 200 operations. Each shoe from Loake is a real work of master craftsmanship created from the noblest leathers and with respect for the environment. The most demanding clientele from more than 50 countries are not mistaken: Loafers, Derby shoes, and brogues from the Loake brand are faithful companions that offer lasting comfort and elegance.
