Belgian brand Kipling is one of the worlds most recognised and distributed bag brands in the world. When they decided they wanted to create a young and innovative design for their autumn collection, they called upon the two young designers Peter Pilotto and Christophe de Vos, who are the team behind the designer label Peter Pilotto. A label, whose vision of womenswear embraces both new and classic perspectives on elegance. Half Austrian, half Italian Peter Pilotto and Belgian born Christophe de Vos met at the prestigious Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Antwerp, Belgium and graduated in the same year (2000). With their collections being sold at influential stores such as Colette in Paris and Harvey Nichols in New York, they were brought to Kipling’s attention. So, they decided to join forces, with both Kipling and Peter Pilotto bringing all their creative ideas together: mixing urban designs with experimental futuristic prints. With the powerhouses involved in this collaborative project process, this fantastic Belgian design union promises to take the European bag market by storm.
