Jump luggage is the culmination of the French success story of a company founded in 1960: Société Alsacienne de Maroquinerie. After a stroke of genius in the diving bag department (replace the cotton, which took on a funny smell when it came into contact with salty water, with the canvas used on lorries), the company saw its reputation grow and it worked for equally illustrious brands such as Salomon, Rossignol, Dunlop, Lacoste and Beuchat... Having become a leader in the sports bag market by the beginning of the 1980s, the company felt it was time to launch its own brand. This is what it did in 1983, with Jump luggage. The Jump brand was immediately distinctive, with models featuring lively, vivid colours which cut through a market that had previously been made to look gloomy. For 25 years, Jump luggage has continued its route along the path of technical innovation and stylish originality, without ever losing sight of functionality and the needs of its customers.
